Blues have no use for Petterson. Higher cap and not as good as Dunn. No thanks.

Right idea but there’s no way Malkin is leaving. He has one destination he’s accept and I see no reason why Florida would add him. Trading Jake is a must now for me but that’s not the deal we need.

Letang really had a good year and I don’t want him gone. Matheson had some decent moments and I’d rather keep him at this point than Dumo, who’s definitely declining. There’s zero chance the Blues would make that deal. I like the idea of adding a veteran like Mrazek

Super dramatic. You guys literally lost bc of goaltending. Trader Petterson for a middle 6 power forward. Idk say Domi and look for a solid backup like Mike Smith and you should be fine. This team just won the hardest division hockey

here come 9 million bad penguins posts.

Guess what, it starts with the coach not Malkin and Jake. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

We lost because we got bullied around the ice and had no answer for it because Sullivan doesn’t make adjustments. Yes Jarry sucked but we also never made life that hard on Sorokin. Most of the shots generated were easy saves for him. We don’t have guys that like to go to the net. In short. We’re softer than a baby’s bottom but Burke and Hextall will fix that

Penguins were the best team in the playoffs In scoring chances and 2nd “high danger” chances. 3rd in expected goals…. Doesn’t seem like they were bullied. Looks like they had terrible luck and terrible goaltending. Penguins dominated the islanders. Should have easily won but couldn’t get a save

No the Cizikas line absolutely dominated us, especially on the Island. We barely got any traffic to the net all series. Lots of shots but you aren’t beating good goalies in the playoffs with soft play around the net. Look at Zucker’s goal tonight, we needed a lot more of that but Sully has a soft team and it showed. It’s why he has to go

I agree I just think GMRH is going to clean house. Considering the pens won’t compete for a cup with the roster they have, I don’t really see him and Burke going all in for another run. We need to start looking for the future and gaining value through the draft.

Letang and Malkin had stretches where they were good this year but it’s time to look for the future. We lack grit, size and compete. These two just aren’t able to dig deep like they once could. Try to get as much back for them now before their value crashes within the next couple years. Although it’s probable we keep them.

Sully has too big of an ego to continue coaching this team and it showed as he was badly out coached by Trotz. Not pulling Jarry, not switching the wingers to get Crosby, Guentzel going... he will find a new job within days but his days in PIT are numbered. I’d rather Gallant or Tocchet at this point.

I agree with everything you said. It’s nice to see someone else who isn’t a fanboy with poms poms who thinks their favorite player can’t be traded. I just don’t see anyone taking Malkin or Letang in a trade. I think after next year Geno will walk. Tanger probably comes back on a short deal at half the price then retires in 3-4 years given his health issues over the years. We are softer than a baby’s bottom but Hex and Burke are the best options for fixing that. Step one is to find a new HC

I agree Sullivan needs to go. But the entire makeup of this team needs to change and I think we need to look to the future. And that means getting rid of everyone to gain prospects and picks. The current team will not win another cup so no point in delaying the inevitable.
