I agree that McCann would be a great get for the Oilers but:

1. I doubt Pittsburgh lets him go and
2. He's absolutely worth more than this

How? He's been one of their best forwards after their big 3. They won't do 4-4-1, and they'd be protecting Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel, Kapanen, Rust, McCann, and probably either Tanev, ZAR, or Blueger (my money's on Tanev). He's been way better than Zucker, who has been trash compared to his contract. I would be absolutely floored if they protect Zucker or any of the last few over McCann

Blueger and ZAR, for their insane defensive impact, are more important than McCann IMO

Yeah he could give you a 1st I think. Otherwise I love the addition of Savard and Ullmark. Ullmark should honestly get more term he is that good. Only 6 losses in 20 games this season. Savard will solitify that d core. Saad easily gives you 25 goals 45 points could give you 30 goals 55 points if he’s having a good year playing with McDavid. Idk bout Stastny but I guess this team needs some radical changes
