Description

-It has been confirmed Beagle will not be on LTIR next season (still a solid 4C and penalty killer)
-DiPietro needs to play to get better, opportunity for him
-Virtanen contract terminated (allegations)
-Coleman and Armia solid additions (Podkolzin can move up to 2nd line later in the season)
-If Edler wants to stay he is going to have to play RD as it's believed a Schmidt-Myers line would work better for Schmidt and he could have a bounce back season on that pairing. Rathbone also needs an anchor type player (Edler) to mentor him and hold the back while he plays offensively up ice

6 days ago someone on twitter quoted Dhaliwal that beagle was seeing a specialist in 10 days time. So that means beagle is seeing a specialist in Monday.

Didn't drance say Hughes was on IV . I will wait for Benning or the Canucks to say something official. I have zero trust in most of Vancouver media (The Click Baiters)

On the last VANcast Drance was talking about buyout options for Van and he never mentioned beagle LTIR as a possibility once. He was saying he may be a good cap dump option since he has a low salary. Drance also thinks the Canucks should just burn this year and do no buyouts, no trades, and no new additions so I don’t put a lot of stock in his opinion.

Basically, beagle will talk to his doctor, and then he will wait and sit and do nothing until he gets his final bonus paid, and then the Canucks will announce he is on LTIR, like the islanders did with Boychuck last summer

That is exactly what I think Beagle will do also.

I will be honest when Drance Paterson Dayal Sekeres basically most of the 1040 staff come on I turn down the volume or switch programming . Benning is on Donnie's show tomorrow I will wait for his update I guess.

I did some more digging on a beagle. Drance posted an article on the athletic again today going over buyout options for the Canucks (so that’s two articles and two podcast episodes where all he says is “Canucks are bad and should just be bad”).

He had this quote on beagle in his most recent article

“ The Athletic understands that Beagle will be consulting further with specialists in the next week or so. There’s still some uncertainty on this file, but at this point, it’s assumed that Beagle will not be on LTI for the duration of the 2021-22 league year.”

Sooooooo Drance is literally just assuming beagle will be healthy despite saying he has yet to see a specialist? How do we know he will be healthy? At least wait until after he sees the doctor

You are bang on with a lot of comments. How does Drance know what the doctor will say.
