Yeah lol, I added Chara / Hakanpaa as depth defensemen / physical beasts that can be paired with prospects like Lajoie and Keane, or if Rod wanted he could play them both as a shutdown pair.

Barrie to me is quite overrated - he is definitely not a top D pairing guy and most of his points were a result of the McDavid effect (secondary assists and such). I feel like Honka can fill that role in 2022-23 as he's been quite the stud in the Liiga this year with rapid defensive improvements.



Fair enough, I was also thinking of having either Rees or Drury + a second for them to pick Gardiner since our center depth is already set with Suzuki and al.
