I like Reinhart but Monahan is just as good as him when healthy and much better at playing center. Reinhart's short stint at center on the worst team in the league does not make him a strong top 6 center in my books

Better than Tkachuk is laughable. Did Reinhart have a career year? Yes. Did it raise his value? Sure. Is he suddenly an elite center on a contender? God no

Reinhart better than Tkachuk is definitely a pie in the sky thought, but the way I looked at it was we are selling Monny at his lowest value and buying Reinhart at his highest. I couldnt think of a buy low candidate at center that could be a chance of scenery trade for both teams.

I don’t think the value is bad and if the flames were to trade mony this wouldn’t be a bad idea. But I don’t think the flames should trade mony because he is liked in the dressing room and he is just as good as Reinhart and will probably make less money after reinhart is signed
