Realistic Offseason

Description
Realistic offseason for the Leafs. I know there will be some big trades but can't be certain of any of them right now. Hyman takes a slight discount and will play on the 2nd line with Tavares and Robertson (Could see Robertson take that next step). Foligno signs a 1-year deal to run it back with the leafs, as I don't see CBJ bringing him back if they are going through a rebuild. Sign Goodrow and play him with Kerfoot and Foligno on the "Checking Line". Instead of bringing back Bogosian sign Oleksiak who is a hometown kid and brings some size on the blueline. Bernier backing up Campbell or could be playing as a tandem. The only trade that I think is a possibility is leafs shipping out Rielly for a solidified Top 6 winger. Could be a similar situation with Avs and Barrie when they traded him knowing Makar was gonna be able to fill the void. Don't know if Sandin is able to play Top 4 minutes and log heavy ice time. Let me know what you guys think!

Robertson likely spends the whole season next year in the AHL - I believe the team has said that. He's not ready, still needs to learn to play the pro game rather than his junior style.

Nylander/Matthews/Marner need to be split up. Nylander can drive his own line so use that skill for more depth. Foligno isn't being re-signed. His family is still in Columbus and he'll sign back there to be a leader during their rebuild. Might be a consistent deadline pickup but almost certain he signs with Columbus. Goodrow will likely be around $1M more, but can't see him going over $2M.

Dermott is likely lost to Seattle. Actually kinda dumb for Toronto to pay a 2nd for them to take Engvall when they can bury him in the minors for $125K and they have someone to take Dermott's spot. Kerfoot is a possibility to Seattle but I see him being traded before the draft even happens.

Your defence is thin. Oleksiak would be a good add, but likely comes in between $2.5M - $3M and he also doesn't play the right side frequently. It's already been reported that Bogosian and Toronto have mutual interest in a new contract so I wouldn't be shocked to see him back. Bernier likely doesn't want anything to do with Toronto after his go around there last time. He'll also be looking for more of a chance at a starter's role and he just can't have that in Toronto. He was a tandem goalie last time he was there and it didn't please him, and he'll also want some where close to what he made this season ($3M per year).

Here's more what I think will happen:
