I figure Nesterov gets a couple tries at Barberio's expense real soon.

I hope so. Barberio is a perpetual 7th dman. Great in the AHL but just can't do anything of significance at the NHL level. He is what he is but if Nesterov can put in some shots past the other team he's already better then Barberio IMO.

This is when I know I'm delusional, I have been thinking Barberio is doing well. He seems to pinch-in at the right time, distribute the puck well, skate well, and hasn't been sticking out in the defensive zone. Then again, all I have been comparing him to is Beaulieu, who seems like a perpetual liability.

Barberio made my heart stop a few times last night. Did you see when he got the puck behind Price and frigging centre passed it out to a damned mob of Islanders?
