Yeah, but I am sure that Jarmo will only trade him to a place where he would extend so the Jackets get a bigger return. Jones is too important to trade for pieces that would have minimal impact on the future.

Maybe.. But imo Foudy looks promising (and his brother plays for the jackets), Jost is still young and has some upside potential and a 1st which is always great. Maybe you can add an extra 2nd but it seems unlikely that the Jackets would get the better end of any potential deal. Maybe I'm wrong, we'll see.
