Bertuzzi

Created by: LGuy54
Team: 2021-22 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 15, 2021
Published: Jun. 15, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Bertuzzi is the kind of winger that we need, a rugged winger who looks like a guy that can be relied on in the playoffs. I'm sure the red wings would like to keep him, so it would take a lot to get him out of detroit.

LOL Detroit fans think this is undervaluing Bertuzzi!?!

This season, he had 7 points in 9 games played. But I'm not going to count that cause that's a small sample size.

Last szn in 71 games he had 48 points. That's by no means bad, that actually pretty good. But that doesn't mean that the Leafs should throw a 1st round pick, and 3 VERY talented prospects just for him.

Yzerman would accept this trade blind, as this is a win for Detroit for sure.

There are no Detroit fans saying that on this thread. Iconichawk is not a Detroit fan, he's a troll

All Detroit fans here are saying that this is a reasonable trade that could well be close to being accepted if tweaked a little.

Oh, and Detroit fans know that they're asking a lot for Bertuzzi. The reason for them doing so is that Detroit doesn't have a need to get rid of him, he fills a very valuable need for the team and losing him would hurt the team really bad. The combination of having a large reason to want to keep Bertuzzi and Toronto's apparent large need to acquire him is what's driving the price up. It's an overpayment but an overpayment is what it'll take for Bertuzzi to be moved.
