Seattle probably take Motte then. I protect Highmore over Motte because IMO they are just about the same player, both had great bubble performances, but Highmore is more durable and costs less.
I have no idea why NJ want Risto, but if that happens that opens the door for a possible Severson swoop. I don't know what NJ fans expect in terms of return but Jett Woo is a solid prospect who will end up in someone's top 6 and I've seen several trades for Holtby, albeit I've added a 2nd in there to offset Holtby's cap and add a bit of value for Damon.
I would be thrilled if we found a way to add Nosek. IMO, a huge improvement as a bottom 6 guy to Sutter or Beagle.
I'm not going to lie - no matter what happens this offseason I want to at least see the line of Hog - Petey - Podz tried at some point this year. It could be so much fun. I think Podz has some untapped playmaking potential that SKA didn't give him the chance to show.
Then we reunite Miller with his Tampa buddy in a similar trade to what we gave up for Nate Schmidt. I think people have been undervaluing Killorn. He's a really, really good driver of play (statistically speaking). More importantly, for a top 6 guy, his cap hit is great. Even if he regresses, He's off the books in a couple of years.
I think it's cheating to leave Beagle on LTIR. Best case scenario, at his age, is that he walks away. But I don't like to wish problems away.
The Loui buyout stings next year more than anything but it saves us a spot for a league minimum contract, who we've seen can be filled with tremendous value in the flat cap era. I know everyone is telling you to eat Loui for one more year, but the more I think about it, the better a buyout sounds. Again, maybe his cap hit will magically disappear. I would love that. But I don't think it's fair to assume that.
Not that you guys will read this, but I'm open to changing the picks on either of those trades. Say, 3rd for Severson, 2nd for Killorn, or a 1st for Severson. Etc. Don't think I'm willing to go first for Killorn.
the delusion is that you don't see that the demand knows the supply has to move.
It takes 1 gm to think I'm a Killorn away and half dozen or so will be very interested in his services creating a bidding war negating any cap issues tool
I have seen a lot of biased delusional fans on here for their team they support - but you top that list
there maybe interest in killorn, by multiple GMs, but they all know that Tampa needs to shed Johnson, Gourde and one of Palat and Killorn in order to resign and get under the cap and meet roster obligations.
you are not getting 2nd for any of those players.....that's the reality you cant face

I dont have to tell myself anything - you are the one living in fantasy land.......
So your saying Ken Holland thinks he's an Alex Killorn away he's going to let Benning have him for a 3 because TB has cap issues? That's the most assinine theory I've heard thanks for showing how utterly delusional you are.
This coming from the idiot who thinks if you trade an LTIR player for one who isn't it frees up both salaries https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/2425471 you don't free up 9 million this way I'll listen to your opinion when you prove your smart enough to do first grade math.

And I don't need to listen to yours, ill take my math and suggestions form the pros and reporters, not someone who thinks he understands LITR and the Cap and the CBA.
Until then, I will continue to correct you delusional beliefs regarding Tampas cap and roster

Clearly you don't simply do a TB ACGM type the starting salary cap into a calculator do that Johnson Ferland trade on the post and subtract the new salary cap hit in bet anything you want the difference isn't 9 mil tool

Risto is not replacing Severson so it should stop you there. After PK and Severson we have Connor Carrick who is a UFA who didnt play and for all we know, told management he wont be back. So basically no one fills the bottom right side, Risto at full salary is a dump as is Holtby. As such Woo and whatever else are throw ins. You don't get a great contract RHD for that. You get Brett Seney C and that's about it, maybe a mid round pick
