Tatar is not resigned
Drouin is let go in EXP draft
Danault is resigned has an elite 3C
Staal was **** in rs and good in playoffs . He retires
Perry is back and was great
Kk is bridged
Lehkonen is back on QO
Poehling cracks the roster
Byron is serviceable but overpaid. We find not takers
Kulak is serviceable but we don’t have space . A rebuilding team takes him for a year (fair contract)
Armia was great during PO and is resigned
Bergevin goes on UFA and gets Martinez for LD
Fleury has to go through waivers so he makes the team
We could even keep Kulak if we find no takers

The clear weakness is LW. If we make the playoffs, it’s the position I’ll Look to add an offensive lw

I think he’s gone if Bergy gets the opportunity. We will have the answer this summer . Nobody knows

I don't hate what i'm seeing but in all honesty, id rather not sign martinez and use the 4.5M to pursue a solid LW (ex. hoffman, schwartz) to boost the offence. Maybe trade a younger guy like fleury coupled with a pick/C-level prospect to a team above the cap for a capable D. think about the trade we used to get armia, WIN wanted to dump mason's salary and threw in armia all for simon bourque. something along those lines but for a 5/6 D would be great for the team.

I agree we clearly need a offensive LW also but we will need cask for Suzuki and caufield the year after. I better like keeping the forwards money for them and add a LW at TDL to help the offense instead. With the cap, we can’t have a perfect lineup and finding good D at TDL is way tougher and expensive than a winger
