Crowse is a big boy, he’s young, Arizona what you want for him? Mitch and Matt’s 22 million cap hit for one line, its unreasonable to need a 4-5 mil guy on their wing. They need a big guy who can be a net front presence and get into the dirty areas because they can’t. Can Crowse do that? Galley’s back because he’d be cheap and other than that horrible pass he was alright. Simmonds is back cause similarly he brings more value than his cap hit, that 4th line is just for Robertson to get his feet wet in the NHL. He’d be better suited to play with a 4th line that Keefe can line match with other teams’ 4th lines rather than a shutdown line that goes against other teams’ top lines. Adam Larsson and Muzzin would be a strong shutdown pair, riding Rielly and Brodie (I know that’s more of a 2nd pair than a top pair but what can we do?), and Dermott and Lijlegren share the RD spot beside Sandin. I don’t trust Sandin to take the reigns yet bc he got destroyed defensively in the playoffs. This pair will only be getting offensive face offs and we are basically going to ride 4 D.
