He is being scratched on a not-so-strong offence in Montreal. Also, with teams in cap issues with not much space, players will take less. Unless he wants to play for Detroit or an awful team like that, he will receive way less.

    1. Yeah, just a catchy thing I guess lol.
    2. Players will not receive so much of a raise with the cap not going up. Unless they want to play on bad teams, they will not get what they want. Coleman for 3.5M is a bit too low but not so much of a pay cut. It is almost a 2M raise for him. And for Drieger, he is not worth over 3M imo, maybe a tiny bit more but not that much. Again, he won't get as much as he wants.

. 3.5 with 33% provincial compared to 1.9 with 0% state tax rate pretty much a miniscule take home raise

No thanks, we don’t need Engvall. The only player I would want that wouldn’t cost an arm and an leg is Alex Kerfoot.

That would be approx. a half a million raise plus the bonus in Toronto is much higher.

Depth. You need depth. Engvall is a good bottom 6 player. He is fast and plays on the PK. You need those players.

he's been scratched most of the postseason and not all because of injury. If you think he's getting 5mil a year youre nuts

Yah but we need better guys, and not fourth liners. Kerfoot isn’t a fourth liner, and he fills a hole.
