Description

The Oilers have the best AHL winger prospects in Benson, Marody, Macleod, and Lavoie . . . why not just give them a shot??? The team badly needs wingers . . . if one or two of these guys worked out, the team would be set.

For God's sake, please do not buy out James Neal . . . if they buy out anyone, it should be Koskinen because he only has 1 year left. Let's not make the same mistake as Chiarelli did with Pouliot and carry dead cap space for years.

If they promoted these prospects and bought out Koskinen, the Oilers would have about $10m of cap space. They could finally give McDavid a great triggerman like Hoffman or someone.
