Description

The Toronto deal creates a ton of cap space by taking a bad contract off the board for 3 season.
The Edmonton deal is dealing a UFA in a position of strength to improve the 2C position.
The Vancouver trade gets a competent backup for Allen to create a 1C, 1B situation like he's had his whole career because he's clearly not ready for full time duty yet.

don't see Ryan Miller back in st.louis (fool me once...)
Edmonton trade...don't see the oilers doing it
Out of the Leafs deal as bad as the blues are right now that could be a decent 1st rounder

Forgot about the Miller experiment, Switch him for a decent rental 1B type goalie, the idea remains the same. The Edmonton trade really depends on how bad they want to go for it this year, I guess I could make the pick Conditional on Shattenkirk resigning, or add another Conditional pick. And I forgot to Lottery protect the 1st in the Toronto trade.
