While its hard to put a value on Patrick, PHI went into last year as a real contender and due to COVID and regression on their 2nd pair and in net, fell out of playoffs, but still finished with a winning record with the worst goals against.

I dont think PHI moves Patrick for futures, they're closer to contending now and have a pretty deep forward/prospect forward corps. (and the fact you've put Patrick on your 2nd line shows that his value is high in your opinion)

PHI says no.

The fact that I put Patrick on my second line shows that Buffalo will be bad. I agree that they might want some more eastablished players but Juolevi and the pick are some really nice piece to trade back at the deadline and it saves you from loosing Patrick for nothing to Seattle

I doubt Patrick is SEA's choice....if SEA wants Patrick, I could see PHI moving him, but I think his value is slightly higher than that, and a bit wasteful based on the time and development.... A low 3rd in an underevaluated draft and a prospect when PHI has too many to develop at the moment (even their AHL team has 14 guys who are 1st/2nd year). Its just not an offer that PHI considers.

but it doesn;t save PHI from losing someone else. PHI has lots of wings, but few Centers who are ready now.

Overall, its just not anything that appeals to PHI and I sincerely doubt SEA (and its weather/location in regards to Patricks migraine disorder) looks at Patrick. So not only is it an offer I doubt PHI considers, its an urgency (expansion) that I dont think applies to Patrick.
