The only way to get his cap hit down is to give him term. 3yr/6m 5yr/5m 8yr 3.5-4.5m depends on what he wants for his post 35 yrs.

Sure. But I would let Tuna Walk. With Caufield in the top 6. And Tuna's ineffectiveness in playoffs, that money can be used else where. Gallagher/Danault raises essentially.
