Ducks decline, its going to take a lot more than that to get Gibson out of Anaheim.

Gibson, Zegras, Drysdale are the Ducks untouchables. Any future success in Anaheim depends largely on those 3 guys

You don't need to give Seattle anything to take James Neal. His buyout is $1,916,667 per year for each of the next four years. Note that even though you've added John Gibson's big cap hit, you still have almost that much room with this roster.

Speaking of Gibson, that's what we'd take if he were 34 and in the last year of his contract. But he's signed for six more years, so we're not trading him. As @NLidstrom says above, he and Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale are the Ducks untouchables, and they'll be the core of our team for the next half-decade.

P.S. Don't forget that Anaheim and Edmonton will be in the same division again starting this season, so the price for Gibson would be even higher.
