Description

A foregone conclusion amongst flyersfans is that either Jake or JVR will be taken in the expansion draft. I dont think thats the case so the capspace is more sparse than what we hope. i left 1.4 mill to cover if say hart hants more than 2 mill or sanheim wants above 4. the remaining capspace is for signing 4th liners and depth players.

I wantet to throw the Konecny for Gaudreau trade in case Voracek or JVR gets claimed. if they dont, i dont see flyers spending precious capspace to get Johnny. Instead get like a Blake Coleman or Barclay Goodrow.

Agree with you about it being unlikely they take one of them unprompted. However, that Gaudreau trade is bad, for both teams. Flames could get more for sure, and Flyers are giving up cheaper guy with years for 1 year of Johnny. Miller is interesting, hopefully he's better than in Buffalo.

Buffalo will not trade Miller for with any salary retention he is the odds end favorite to go to Seattle. The only way that would happen is if was after the expansion draft
