keep thinking that malkin doesnt have that value only decent piece is Boldy the 2nd is nothing special Greenway is a big body 3rd liner and soucy is a 5/6 d man. plus if the trade takes place before exspan tion draft then pens loose one of the players or trade the draft pick to get Seattle to draft some one else. keep Malkin

I think you highly underestimate Soucy and Greenway as players who drive possession. Malkin is over the game of hockey and has very little passion left - I can not blame him as the dude left seemingly everything on the ice to win three cups. Sell high or risk getting nothing.

Gotta do something to keep Kaprizov around..... maybe another Russian. Its a good hope while the contract is not ideal
