VAN decline, also Coleman wants to play in the States. Krejci will retire a Bruin unless he gets overpaid by a team.

There’s almost not a single thing about this post that’s supposed to be realistic. It’s actually a good deal for Van. I’m a Canucks fan and I would take that deal cause we need a 3C

Yeah VAN needs a 3C but not one that makes 3.5mill/year.

Not gonna get a good one for much cheaper though. 3.5 isn’t super bad if they can move out a contract or two.

Exactly. Imagine how stacked they would be if Covid didn't screw up the salary cap and we had an extra 10-12mil to send right now. What could have been....

Brassard, Haula, Staal, Nosek etc. I would much prefer VAN to go the UFA route for a cheap 3C. I don't see teams lined up to take VAN bad contracts unless significant pieces are added.

Yeah, a team can a long way with extra cap…

Well Virtanen can be bought out or terminated which saves 2 mil. Holtby could also be bought out saving about 4 mil. Honestly, burying Roussel, Eriksson, and Beagle also saves some extra. Haula is the only one I’d prefer as a 3C, the others would be great as a 4C

Highly doubt the team buries Beagle or Roussel, Green would want a right shot center regardless on the roster and penalty killers. Don't see the team buying out Holtby unless they have no other choice. Kerfoot is more of a winger then center. VAN wants a 3C to take some of the defensive burden off of Horvat.

I’d rather resign Sutter for cheap than keep Beagle. He’s really slow and has no offensive abilities at all. Sutter is injury prone but has the same defensive abilities and is great in the face off circle. He’s also shown he can score goals with 9 in 43 games… I’d be fine with them burying Beagle. Roussel can also be trade along with a third round pick considering he’s not too expensive and isn’t completely useless.

I guess all those moves are possible.
