Hey I’m just saying at least my way Tampa gets something in return

I do think Tampa will make a trade or 2 before Seattle and draft day .. your comment makes sense .. just saying Cirelli is a "second core" and he had tough year playing with Stamkos .. Cirelli needs more of a creative winger as he is not a playmaker center ..

Gotcha, I was looking at the main cover page, not their details. It will be interesting if Landeskog, Makar and Grubauer follow in the footsteps of MacKinnon and take a home team discount in order to take a run at something special. GL has already made a pile of money in his career, he may eat some cash. Makar knows he's going to make a fortune in his career, so he might do a bridge deal at a discount to get the team over the flat cap hump. Grubauer I'm not so sure. He has made OK money in his career, but coming off his past three or four seasons where he played really well, he might be looking to cash in as he turns 30 near the beginning of the season. There's no obvious heir apparent.

Yeah Landry’s contract will be real interesting especially after RNH signed the deal he did. Supposedly they are working on the Makar deal and reportedly he would prefer a long term deal, but yeah he definitely makes way more career wise doing a bridge. Grubauer is the one I can picture Sakic playing hard ball with. Yeah he had a career year but when they REALLY needed him in games 4,5 and 6 let’s be honest he was not good. They do have Annunen in the pipeline but he is at least 2 years away from being ready. It will be an interesting off season for them.

I agree re: Grubauer. He has played well in the regular season and his stats are impressive, but I can't see Colorado paying big dollars long term for a guy who hasn't won anything. There are some good goalies in FA this year, and some teams that would part with a reasonably priced goalie who could be the Avs 2-3 year solution until one of the younger guys shows he's ready.
