Not really, all I was thinking about is I'd rather keep the top 4 D over Drouin, Evans or Lehkonen.

But you're right, I kept looking at things from MTL perspective and was misunderstanding you're argument from Seattle's perspective.

Edit: Big brain thinking would be protecting 3rd and 4th line role forwards over your captain and top 4D assuming Seattle will not draft him because of his contract (even though you know he won't finish that contract). I was doing the total opposite of big brain thinking... just simple straight forward protect the players you want and let Seattle make their choice.
