I actually don’t mind Voracek at all. But even at 7m I’m not sure if the swap makes sense for Ottawa. 3 years instead of 2 of what is likely a better player but you are paying an extra 2m.

The bigger problem with the swap is that Tkachuk and Stuetzle are already penned in on the first and second line LW. If he was a right shot it might have been worthwhile but I don’t think the fit is there.

he plays RW
