No chance the caps pay a 3rd to take on Holts unless he is retained around 50%

doesn't need to be the caps. just know an eastern team is interested, and there is no way they need to retain 50%. its a draft pick, 3rd or whatever.

You’re not getting a 3 from any team from Holtby, much less the team that rightfully decided to let him walk bc they knew what was coming. Either hold onto him for the last year or be prepared to send a pick with him wherever you send him.
