Don't hate it. I wanted the Oilers to sign Joe in the off season. I would say that considering where COL is at right now, and Colbornes lack of production, I'd rather give up a lesser prospect. Really like Chase's game, hes a little pest, and I think he'd be good to keep in the organization. Lots of other prospects to choose from

Well Chase hasn't produced anything at the pro level and he's not getting any ice time. If anything he's a throw in to keep the 50 man roster limit even (player going out-player coming in). This is basically the same trade as Maroons was last year at the deadline or Yakupov's trade during training camp (minus the retained salary).
