The leafs are in year 2 of a rebuild giving up a 2nd round pick for a 3rd pair dman makes no sense when he will most likely be a free agent this summer. The fact that 28 other teams wouldn't give up a 3rd round pick for him, why would the leafs turn around and now give up a 2nd round pick.

We can't trade any of our 2017 second round picks. The middle of the three has to go back to Anaheim to complete the Andersen deal.
