Ya, cause you're a wing fan...not if you're a jet fan. Doubt VGK select Sheahan.

I have a hard time believing that the jets wouldn't take that trade as well. And I think it's gonna be either sheahan helm or ouelette

I think you're severely undervaluing Connor. I don't know a lot about Sproul, but I doubt the jets would package those two guys unless they got a top pick and an established top line guy or top pair d.

First, I don't think the value is enough from the Jets' perspective; they'd be giving up a budding top pair RHD (which are very hard to come by) and a top prospect for two top 6-ers and a potential NHL defenseman

Second, even if the value was there, I don't see any way that the Jets would agree to this from a needs point of view. A team with a glut of skilled Forwards and Defensive issues would not trade a guy like Trouba without getting a quality NHL Defenseman in return, and I don't think they'd be particularly interested in Tatar or Nyquist either.

Even if the total value is fair on both sides, you always have to factor in quality vs. quantity with NHL trades. 4 quarters isn't the same as 1 dollar bill when you're trading around assets. Plus you're offering non-cost controlled assets for two cost controlled assets. If I'm WPG, it's a hard no.

Tatar sproul 3rd. Cost controlled. Nyquist on contract for another 3-4 years
