Really like this overall, you've done a good job.

The Forsberg trade would need a little more I think - especially since you're asking Nashville to retain 33%. Might have to be Reilly rather than Dermott and a higher draft pick

The Dzingle trade as well might need higher value.

Completley in love with that top line though smile

Nashville trade is not appealing at all for them. They'd likely start with one of Amirov, sandin, Robertson, Lilijgren.

Yeah, I would love that too! Totally agree on the trades and values.

Kase had his concussion issues but be is healthy right now and should have a spot in the lineup. Great fit at a very cheap price. He brings speed, and missing Breakaway Goals to Toronto and is not afraid to bring pucks to the net. He is like a scoring Mikheyev. Gabriel is just a punch you in the face asset, if Simmonds is out. And Bunting should be in the Lineup too. Boy this player has some potential. Hat trick with his NHL career goals 2,3 and 4. Im looking forward to see him in his hometown. He took a discount to play here - he did not take that to be a healthy scratch IMO.

I wanted to see How roberston performed ahead of bunting at first and then if its available as he cant be claimed on waivers first, and it allows for some cap accrument, and i wasnt sure on Kase i hadnt seen anything on his health yet. I wanted to keep Gabriel in the linup with Simmonds and just have that line be a problem for the other team but i can see only having 1 in the linup at a time.

It's closer but I don't know if Toronto could out bid other teams for Forsberg. I feel like nashville would ideally want a good center prospect back as the main assest coming back and most teams would be interested in Forsberg.

i could definitly see other teams in on him, and it is asking alot

Mayhaps the trade shifts slightly keeping engvall and instead making it

SDA Amirov and Derms and a 2nd for Forsberg,
SDA had some real good seasons with peterborough and was pretty solid with the marlies. Hed be a cheap effective center prospect for nashville.
and the leafs instead attach engvall to the arizona trade and instead of a 3rd it becomes a 4th.

I honeslty don't know much abot SDAs development so I could't say. I think the leafs should focus on getting a skilled gritty winger for the top 6 like tyler bertuzi over someone like forsberg.

That's very fair a skilled gritty winger could definitely perform quite well, as fore SDA he was almost a point per game in the ahl and played in the KHL as a very low minute player and was still impactful as a 19-year-old.

Bertuzzi would be quite interesting, but the goal of that top line is to put the puck into the net, and having a playoff performer 52 points in 71 playoff games as a 26 year old is something im really looking for. Which is why i went for forsberg over bertuzzi playoff experience is huge for this team right now they are sorely lacking in it and having him around as a person who can put the puck into the net reliably will be huge.
