He has history and chemistry with Geno. They played well together. Neals 40 goal, 80 point season was playing on Geno’s line. If they can sign him cheap, I think he can still help the Pens.

Really Demers is the player I hope the Pens sign at this point the most. He played 17 plus minutes last season and 20 plus minutes the season b4. He can still be a good 3rd pairing RHD. The best RHD left as an UFA in my opinion. Solid defensively and can move the puck.

I actually wish the Pens took that 2.75M they paid McGinn plus another 750k-1.25M and signed a legit top 6 for 3.5M-4M. And replace that 4L spot from within with one of Angello, Zohorna, O’Connor, Lafferty.
