Some people just see the frustration - not the bright spot. Dubas did quit well to replace the future cap hit of Hyman and Foligno combined for 9,3 M to bring in depth with RITCHIE + KASE + KÄMPF + BUNTING + GABRIEL combined for 7,7 M. That is genious. You saw what happened if one player goes down and another played injured. This team needed more options.
Just to compare the numbers of Draisaitl and Tavares is hilarious. This guy do nothing defensively for Edmonton. Tavares is worth every penny.
You quoted SDP so you likely watch Steves Videos and should know what Tavares brings to the team and that every shift is an eye-catcher. Not to mention the intangible assets and leadership he brings to this team.
Just stop to be upset about the core four cap hit. This is really boring and annoying. It is what it is. If the cap hit would be around 90 M right now, no one would complain. And nobody could foresee what happened.
