I love yams but be real please his deal should and will be closer to a JP bridge deal. He also holds no arb rights. Either take a bridge or play on the QO

Why not? Yamamoto has shown he is worth 2M, and that’s what he should get. He should get exactly what Bear got 2x2. If you look at Yamamoto’s past 2 seasons, he put up some decent numbers. Yes his first season was WAY better than his second, but his second season was still pretty decent. If he can keep this up, 2M won’t be bad at all.

He’s been a 3rd liner at best aside from his heater pre covid. He’s been a good player but his production has been falling off not going up. There’s more depth on the wings now so he’s going to need to show up and produce or get lost in the shuffle. Mark my words, he will at most get 1.7 over 2 years. On a deal he can get his numbers going up again instead of down and cash in with arb rights in 2 years

You say he had been a third liner, but yet you won’t give him 2M! Third liners get 2M, some even more. Also, there is more depth on the left side, the right side is still the same as it was. He is definitely worth 2M, and he has proven it with him playing a season and a quarter.
