ummm what Duchene to Edmonton rumour? That isnt a legit one. The Local Avs beat writers have been saying 4 teams have been hitting up the Avs the hardest for Duchenen. Ottawa, Islanders, Montreal, and Carolina (who recently bowed out bc of the price). I dont think Edmonton has even talked to the Avs.

And Carolina didnt want to do Duchene Faulk swap. Dont see them taking Nuge instead.

The 4 teams I mentioned are the ones they said have had the strongest interesting and most active trade talks. Penguins, Nashville, and St Louis havent even entered the convo with the Avs according to them.

Avs want 3-4 young pieces for Dutchy. 1st, Nurse doesnt even move the needle for them. THey want way more based on their demands, and they should ask for more, they aren't shopping him, the are listening to high offers for him and are not interesting in giving him away in fair deals. If you want him, you over spend on him or else they are more than happy keeping a very good player to help them move fwd.
