Knew it had to be a Habs fan posting this when I saw Suzuki there

Leaving guys like Point, Marner, Couturier (Just off the top of my head) to bring Suzuki is kinda funny.

i wouldn't of thought Suzuki made it either until this past years playoffs and how much Jon Cooper raved about him after the finals. Marner doesn't make it, not cut out for the big stage. Either of the other 2 could easily take a spot. Canada could probably have 2 gold medal caliber teams honestly.

Point plays for Cooper's team, so I think that's a given. The whole "Marner isn't cut out for the big stage" is always a funny argument to me though. Guy has 25 points in 32 playoff games, which would rank him just outside the top 100 all time for playoff points per game. It's a media driven narrative that people just eat up. It's actually higher than Suzuki's run this year.
