I did this for fun as I have too much free time today and the more I look into it the less I think it happens

But anyways the big move: offer Sheet Peterson @9.5

Yes this’ll be matched but oh well lets look at the team as if it goes through somehow.

I have to confess I’m not an avid watcher of Wild games but I went to game 7 vs Vegas this yr and was surprised by how good of a fight they put up.

Forwards
1st line- I like Fiala more than Zucc. In the short amount I watched the wild I though Fiala was better though I could be wrong. Anyways Kiril and Peterson are an electric young duo that can be the cornerstone of any franchise
2nd line- Solid line
3rd line- again, solid, nothing special; good for playoffs
4th line- more of the same

Defense
This is a decent top 6 not the best

Goalies
Tbh I can see Talbot falling off as Kappo becomes the full time starter

This offer sheet was fun to think about but that’s about it. No way the wild can do this signing at 9.5 with the dead cap they are going to have the after next season.
Moreover, they will have put themselves in no position to bring back greenway, Fiala, rask, and Kahkonen

This would be a team that has to win it this year and this roster can’t beat VGK COL TBL FLA NYI

After that this team would not fall apart, but return to the depths of mediocrity.

I say they loose Fiala and Kappo, though they are both RFA’s and can get assets for them.
