let's be real - KK should have gone 10-15th overall - Farabee, Docker, Miller not to mention the top 10 guys ahead of him Quinn Hughes etc- there are a ton of better selections. you are massively undervaluing a 1st overall pick. a top 10 pick has about a 50% chance at being an nhl first line player, kk is not that. picks are worth a boat load.

Where is the first overall pick in that trade?

It makes sense, but that still leaves the right with just him a jokiharju. Maybe laaksonen pops, but the right is still light compared to the left.

that leaves just a 3rd pair spot open. Id prefer a leadership guy there as well with 5 kids filling it out. Thats how I veiw the direction they should head down
