No its not

Dermott sucks defensively and provides no offense whatsoever, leafs fans only love him because he is good at "skating the puck up ice", which literally any defenseman can do. Max i think he would get traded for is a 4th

Hes a decent number 4 defender who can play in all three zones, excells in both transition defence and zone exits. Good skating, decent offence and can play his off side while posting good defensive numbers
