Description

If I'm picking team USA's 2022 Olympics roster, I want Seth Jones, Seth Jones, and MORE Seth Jones. Heck, he can play LW, C, RW, LD, RD, and G.

Ok I'm jk.

For real, a blend of rising youth with veteran leadership is the way to go. I believe the US's goaltending, if they show up, can rival that of Canada's.

Captains:
C - Joe Pavelski
- I think this one is easy to figure out. Playoff warrior, competitive player, GOAT of tip-in goals, and can provide much needed leadership to boost the morale of younger players.
A - Patrick Kane
- though not usually a captain, I think he'll be one of the leading scorers for the US. Even exiting his prime, he's one of the top scorers in the NHL
A - John Carlson
- could be Blake Wheeler, but Carlson knows what it takes to win. He did so in WSH and emulated Ovi's abilities to score one timers on the left side of the ice. He's a pretty solid defender. Some of you will say he sucks at defense, but that's ok; there's actually some really good two-way d-men for the US to put on their roster.
