Pretty sure I seen a few reports saying chara wants to be in the east makes sense less travel and it’s where he’s been his entire career.
Ducks trade. Hmmm lavoie is a big blow to loose I think he’s got a lot more upside and could be a really good fit for this team in the nearer future but I do like the deal and think that’s a heck of a hard third line nobody would want to face.

Chara may want a shot at a cup and with the additions the Oilers could be real competitors (if goaltending holds up)

I’m all for chara if he is open to it and considering it’s deadline and nearing the end of season travel is less of a factor certainly can see it. I doubt that deal happens like that just because of how respected Russell is within organization even without a clause im sure Holland would leave it up to him. Not to nit pick that’s a small detail that can be worked around.

Don’t say it as often as I’d like to with oilers posts on here but great job do really like it.
