Alex Chiasson is a defensive liability and does not have good hands for the PP, just a big body in front of the net but makes the PP slow and painful to watch. Get a more dynamic group who can move the puck better and stop making it so easy to defend against with 2 players up the middle.

Split up Bo and Pearson:
Pearson is a 3rd line forward and we are handicapping that line. Give Bo 2 dynamic players in Garland and Hogs and let them tear it up. All 3 of those players are great at puck retrieval unpredictable and both have shown to play well with Bo. Not only should this line be a better offensive line but also great at keeping limited chances at our end.


Call Up Petan and get a center who can play offence with Podz, does not sacrifice your top lines potential while keeping some1 who can score on that line and not have them just be defensive for their bottom 6. he showed well in pre season and think he would fit well here along side the 2 big bodies Pearson and Podz.

Fix the PP:
Its too stationary get movement when we have the extra man. Stop with this screen and bumper position crap. Horvat can transition between the 2 slots depending on puck position. Get more outside movement to open up shooting lanes and make defenders move. Podz can take up that role for the 2nd PP and have 2 great puck retrieval /movement players in Hogs and Garland.

Fix the PK:
Lets use more aggressive players and stop relying on Demko. Dickenson has not proven to be a good faceoff center and all around not great on the PK. Miller has been a great PK guy and Podz would be a good player to put beside him allows for good sticks in lanes and better blocking out of chances. 2nd unit is for non faceoff defending again I feel Hogs and Garland are 2 of our best puck retrieval players. If we have a 2nd unit faceoff throw Bo out for the faceoffs and change him once we get it out of our end. Side note to that is I have seen Podz take a few faceoffs and would be great if he could be another faceoff man for the PKs.

Defense:
Don't put Myers and Hughes together they don't have good chemistry and cause poor turnovers. For whatever reason Myers seems to play much better positionally with OEL and so that should be a constant unless injuries create an issue. Poolman or Hamonic can play with Hughes. Take Myers off the PK he always seems out of place and flat footed on the PK. Hopefully this is the last road trip we are without Hamonic and he can fill that role going forward.

Stop the line Blender:
How can anyone build chemistry when you cant even finish a game on the same line. And the only 2 who have stuck together (Bo/Pearson) is the only one we should be breaking up due to the other talent we have. Set some lines let them play 10 games together and only then should you start tweaking playing with comp. Green was so eager for early wins he has handcuffed our players potential with this constant blending from period to period.
