He's been on a team perpetually stuck in "what should we do now?" mode. Put him on a team like the Ducks through the late 2000's early 2010' and hes got maybe 2 rings and goes down as arguably the best goalie of all time, or in that conversation.

But he hasn’t played well. I’m not married to stats or anything, but for goalies they’re pretty telling.
The last four seasons he’s 45th in save percentage for goalies with 30+ starts. Same as jake Allen.
