Actual title:

Drouin for Trouba
---------------------------
Value wise this is pretty much even.

Would this make sense 'needs' wise though for both teams?

Also I think with this move, they can trade Connor and/or Lemieux for a top pairing LHD.

Clever name, it definitely makes you look.

    Kudos to you.

If Reinhart won't get Trouba, what makes you think Drouin could?

    Thanks, I try.

Personally, I think Reinhart can get Trouba. Because people just see Reinhart for his point totals. But that's not the full package. His IQ is off the charts. And I mean literally.

Drouin is a similar player to Marner but faster and less aggressive.

Don't see Yzerman trading Drouin for Trouba, In the long run Trouba will probably cost more then Drouin. And Drouin alone wont get you Trouba.

If anything, it's Tampa bay who shies away from this one, though I do think it would benefit them.

It would be similar to the Hall-Larsson swap. Not because of the team needs, but because people would be debating on who got the best value out of the deal.

Yeah true, I wasn't going to get into all of that so I just made the trade. But yeah I do realize that it would have to be a pretty big makeover if they were to get rid of Trouba.

In my opinion Reinhart could get more than Trouba.

You are underestimating Trouba. Just like Kane. And Crosby. And all of the other players that you say are so-called "overrated".

Just because you hear a name a lot doesn't mean they are overrated. That usually means they are one of the best. Or just really really bad and the city wants them out lol.

Yeah I was thinking that as well, though because Drouin has probably the highest potential out of anyone in the league is why they wouldn't act so quick on it. I think if the Jets knew what their RHD plans were, they would make this trade.
