Werenski just signed a long term deal with the Blue Jackets, His NMC kicks in in this summer. Noway he's going to LA. Especially not for the low ball offer.

Werenski is almost untouchable especially after his extension. Its going to take a major overpay for Jarmo to even listen and this isnt close to fair value.

Fair enough. But Tyler madden is extremely slept on based on the depth of the kings system. Arguable would be your second best F prospect.

Undersized center that will likely be shifted to wing. Probably peaks as a decent 3rd liner. He is not a main piece for a player like Werenski. Werenski and his extension would probably cost 2 of Clarke/Turcotte/Byfield along with a 1st as a base

Agree on the move to wing. Think 2nd line is a pretty good bet for him with 3rd line floor and 1st line ceiling.

The compromise would have to be two of Turcotte/Kupari/Madden and a 1st but it seems like both sides would have some reservations.

He very likely doesn't reach 1st or 2nd line. He has a 0.7 PPG in the AHL on a very good team at age 22. For context Adam Ruzicka is also 22 and put up a 1.23 PPG pace in the AHL (before being called up) on a similarly strong team. He is a a much bigger center and is projected to peak as a 3rd liner

No that compromise would not interest Columbus at all and LA would take that and run

Ruzicka is full draft year older and in the middle of his third full AHL season. Madden is 1.5 years in the AHL. Could go in circles but fair enough we’ll hang up and kick the tires elsewhere
