Montreal declines. If that pick is Wright, he will possibly be better than Zegras. And is Suzuki not supposed to be a 1C?

Anaheim would decline too. Why take a chance of getting Wright when they have Zegras.

I don't believe Suzuki is a no.1
You know what ypu have in Zegras not sure Wright will be what everyone expects.
I'm not willing to take the risk.

Anaheim wouldn't do this. Zegras is a stud and a guy to build a team around. Few even thought Anaheim would be this good already, I doubt they'd want to mess with the formula. The uncertainty of Wright would be another reason for Anaheim declining.

As for Suzuki, I think he can be a No. 1 center. He just needs linemates that can separate themselves from the defenders and can be in the right area for his playmaking abilities. We've seen him play pretty well in the defensive-zone before, so if offense can get a little easier for him, I think defensively he'll bounce back. Tough year to evaluate with.
