Seems pretty close to me

Holes are at RD, and goalie partner for UPL
Forwards seem pretty much set

Manson is probably a reach though
He’s likely to get similar offers from better teams
Maybe it’s possible we move Olofsson to get that RD we need

I don't know because people say that Manson fell off a cliff a little but I hardly saw him play this season and didn't look at the metrics, anyway it's already a cap problem (which we have no problem with) and a wallet problem Pegulas, if they need to overpay, they should do it.

I think Olofsson played well this season before the injury and now he is in pain and can't shoot properly, he has improved at ES and if he doesn't ask for a huge contract we could keep him. But if Adams is trading Olofsson for RD, we will need to find a replacement for Olofsson.

If Olofsson is traded for a RD,
his “replacement” could be as simple as moving Asplund into the top9 & putting Bjork or Murray in the lineup on the 4th line

As far as Manson goes….
idk that he’s “fallen off a cliff” as much as he just plays a lot on a crappy team. He’s gonna get offers from good teams (Leafs for example are supposedly interested)
So it’s probably not as simple as “overpaying him to be here”
He’s still gotta choose $$$ over a better chance at winning
Who knows what his thoughts would be on that?

I'm not sure that Asplund is that good, he had a good start, but then he looked faded, and lately it's really bad, I don't know, maybe he just jumped above his head at the beginning of the season. Olofsson is a player who can really score points and we won't get those points if we trade him and don't find a similar player in his place.

Anaheim doesn't seem like such a bad team, but there will be very few RDs on the market that suit us, Adams will have to come up with something.

I don’t mean Asplund as a replacement for Olofsson specifically & equally
Just that he could slot into the top9 somewhere & still hold his own

We could also draft a forward in the top5 that could be ready to play right away, and he could fill that spot if we trade Olofsson

Adams has some options to consider
Bc like u say, there aren’t a lot of quality RD on the market
So a trade might be the only way we get someone of quality

I still disagree a little with you, but we may have different opinions and that's okay.

U don’t think Asplund could be “ok” on the 3rd line?

I think he can be a good third line player, but I don't think he can produce as much as Olofsson. That's exactly what I meant, that if we trade Olofsson, we will need to replace him with a player who can also score a lot of points.

Like i said,
I didn’t mean that Asplund would score like Olofsson
Just that he’d be ok in the top9

Guys like Krebs, Quinn & Peterka will more than replace anything lost by Olofsson

Not that i necessarily want to trade him
But if we want to get a good top4 defenseman, we’re gonna have to give up something good
