Strome being the 3LW likely doesn’t put him in a position to succeed. He ideally needs to be a 2C as his analytics are better as a C than W but he’s also not a great C unless he’s surrounded by talent. He also works very well on PP. he’ll get you points if he can be 2C and PP1 but otherwise he’s likely not an ideal person to have.

Yah, I'm not sure Ron will be making any rash moves. Big Z got the call up, Boyle has been steady. Might call up Nylander and Puustinen who are crushing it right now. He probably waits to see if any assets need to be spent on forward. I like the Halak deal.

I don't think it matters where Strome plays, he just needs to work hard and not be lazy like he always is. Also, he needs linemates who can forecheck.

Would it be worth while to buy low on him and put on the 2nd line w Malkin?

You know I’m not too familiar with Rodrigues but possibly switching those two would be beneficial. If you truly have Strome and Nylander on the same line it’ll be a defensive liability. Both don’t backcheck well.
