Description
Rangers get manhandled by the Canadiens in the 2017 playoffs. They respond with an aggressive offseason. Trading away some core players (Nash Staal Raanta Holden Buchnevich) Bringing in toughness upfront (Roussel Pominville ) and a better defense (Trouba Shattenkirk) to wake them up.
Shestyorkin signs an entry deal and is sent to Hartford to develop. Niemi is Hanks back up for the season.

    I don't see the cap going much higher than 74.5. Shestyorkin I think signed a decent deal in KHL for a few more seasons so I don't know if he'd come over just yet. Lastly I don't see the Rangers moving Nash AND Buchnevic. I kind of see Buch as a possible Nash replacement down the line.

    Not even close for Trouba, Why would Cheveldayoff want a D man that's 5 years older then Trouba and Winnipeg doesn't need more forwards any team could beat that deal.
