Description

Kyle Clifford is just in there if shedding the cap flexibility is at all beneficial. Obviously, he is on the taxi squad at the moment but I feel Nick Robertson could be an alternative call-up/13th FWD. That also explains why I chose Amirov over Robertson but otherwise, I feel they are equivalent prospects in my opinion (both recent early picks/ lost ice-time this season to injury).

The four asset evaluation is based on the value JT Miller brings to the Maple Leaf top-9, with the bonus being the cap-relief for next season of bringing Ritchie and Holl back. Meanwhile, Schenn comes in to replace Holl as an RHD on a league minimum salary. With the amount that the Leafs get out of this, I could see even more value needing to go the Canucks' way.

Now release the leafs and canucks fans upon me...

as much as i would love to have miller, the leafs arent gonna go for a top line forward, its gonna be a D they go after, all things considered, the leafs would say yes to this, if they could resign him or shed cap to resign him

If only Mrazek were on a 2-year deal I could see Canucks bringing that in as well but that third year is when we should be attempting to ramp up our contention again so I hope we avoid that.
