Going to look past the biggest mistake just because tired of having to defend Barrie. Second biggest issue both goalies have term remaining what’s the plan for skinner?

Barrie is a fine player, and seems like a great guy, but he just doesn't fit well on this team imo. Smith could either be traded in the offseason, retire/LTIR due to injuries, or team could hold 3 goalies on the roster. Getting a UFA goalie and planning to run Smith/Skinner next year, which seems to be your alternative, is a bad idea imo

Any chance we can upgrade the 2nd round pick to a 1st round re: the Reimer trade? The other assets are fine, but given how Reimer has been lights out in San Jose and our need for 1st rounders, I for one would be willing to attach our 3rd or 4th round with him to land a 1st round pick.

Maybe Cogliano + Reimer + 3rd for Lavoie + 1st + Koskinen + Turris?
