I think you're undervaluing Ekholm. He doesn't get the credit he deserves w/PK and high scoring Josi on the squad but the dude's a stud. Maybe Nashville undervalues him as well, tho.

I think a hockey trade between Aves and Preds could work out perfectly for both squads, great idea.

Nashville and St. Louis. Probably the two under the radar duchene possibilities. Both teams need centers. Have defense!

I agree. Some Avs writers have named their top 5 trade partners for Duchene and Nashville fits the bill.

I think the Avs would be reluctant to trade Duchene to a division rival but if it works for both sides, go for it. I have a feeling Duchene is going to tear it up with whatever team he gets traded to and us Avs fans will feel that we didn't get full value for him. I love the idea of bring Reaves to Colorado. The Avs are missing that gritty tough guy role in a bad way.

I hope the Avs don't throw Bigras in that Duchene trade. I think he will be ready to play with the big boys next season and could turn into a top 4 for the Avs. I'd rather trade a pick.

Bigras is 100% not ready to play. He had a very bad year, due to injuries. He needs more time.
